Mark Thompson has worked in the school district since 1994.  In his 20's, he earned two associate degrees (in liberal arts and practical theology) and a bachelor's degree in mathematics through Colorado Christian University.  While teaching mathematics at Pagosa Springs High School, he earned his master's degree in counseling through Adam's State University.  He has been the school counselor since 1999.

 

Mark and his wife, Becky--married in 1990--have four children, all of them attending or have attended Pagosa Springs High School!   In his free time he reads, works in his wood shop, writes for his blog, plays music, or looks for bad jokes to inflict on children.
