Community Listening Tour Monday, 26th

Please join Archuleta School District superintendent, Dr. Kym LeBlanc-Esparza, for one of ASD's upcoming community-wide listening tours, and share your vision around what a successful education looks like for students in Archuleta School District. Announcements:


*Volleyball end of season banquet is Tuesday, May 11th at 6:00pm in the front lawn of the high school. VB athletes bring a dessert and your jerseys and travel gear. Thank you!


*Boys Basketball Open Gym will begin the week of May 10th. Open Gym will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays in the Gym from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.


*Cheer Tryouts are Monday-Wednesday, May 10th-12th from 3:30 - 5:30 pm in the PSHS Commons. Open to all incoming 9th-12th graders. Contact Coach Emma Casaceli for more information.


*Dust 2 is holding a women's only mountain bike clinic every Friday in May. We will meet at the Dakota Springs Trail Head behind the High School at 3:30. Ride with all women coaches, free bike rentals if you do not have a bike. Just show up but if you need a bike contact Pagosa Mountain Sports to set that up.

Come out and Ride like a Girl!


*Art students from the first semester this year and last year, please pick up any artwork you may have left ASAP! No artwork will be saved over the summer.


*Students, as you start thinking about which classes to take next year, consider checking out some of the awesome CTE courses we have to offer at our high school! We have CTE classes in a wide variety of subjects like Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources, Building Trades, Business & Hospitality, Computer Science, Culinary Arts, and Health Science. Swing by the lockers in the lower B hallway to check out the course descriptions for more information.



*Yearbooks are now on sale for the best price of the year. If you're interested in buying one, please go to yearbookforever.com and navigate to our school. Email Ms. Riggs with any questions. 2021 Yearbooks will be delivered over the summer and distributed via pickup and mail in early August.

Our Middle School won the inaugural 2015 Governor’s Award for Healthy Schools competing with 43 other schools for this honor. In 2016, our Elementary School also won a healthy award grant. Our Special Talents teacher, Mary Kurt-Mason was named in People Magazine as “Teacher of the Year”.
