Week of April 8th, 2024 Special Announcements

*There will be a meeting after school on Monday the 8th at 4:00 pm for all cast and crew members in Mean Girls. We will meet in the auditorium.

*All 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students: In your advisory Tuesday (April 9), you will be making sure that your digital device (Chromebook, laptop) is ready for the PSAT and SAT next Wednesday (April 17).  Bring your device to school on Tuesday, all charged up and ready to go!  

*The FBLA Spring Blood Drive will take place on Thursday, April 18 10am - 3pm. Schedule a donation at vitalant.org or see any FBLA member for information. 16 & 17 year olds can donate with parent permission (forms are on the wall outside room B13).

*A representative from Colorado Mesa University will be here on Wednesday, March 6th at 12:30.  There is a sign-up in the counseling center.

*There is a SkillsUSA meeting on Tuesday, March 5th during lunch.

*There will be a general FBLA meeting this Thursday at lunch in Ms. Riggs' room. All members who will be attending State need to attend. 

*There will be a meeting for anyone interested in starting up a Floriculture Club on Monday the 4th in Ms Antol's room, D14, at lunch.

Week of February 26th, 2024 Special Announcements

*First official girls soccer practice will be a team meeting on Monday, Feb 26th in Ms. Rice's room (C24) from 4-5pm.

*Track and Field official practice starts on February 26th. Make sure that you have all of your paperwork filled out on Big Teams. We will meet in the lower bus lobby at 4:00. Be dressed and ready for an outdoor workout. If you have any questions, please see Coach O'Donnell in room C21.

*Do you enjoy being outdoors and studying nature?  If you're 13-17 years old, you can apply for the Weminuche Audubon Society scholarship.  The scholarship will pay for you to attend the American Birding Association's Camp Colorado from June 23-30.  The camp is located just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park.  Go to www.weminucheaudubon.org to find the application.  The deadline to apply is March 1st!

Week of January 8th, 2023 Special Announcements

*FBLA Testing will take place this week (Jan. 8-12). FBLA Members, please be sure to make the proper arrangements to make it to your testing appointment on time.

*Student Athlete Leadership Team (SALT) will meet on Thursday at lunch in Mrs. O'Donnell's room C-21. Bring your lunch and listen to a presentation on how leaders influence a championship culture.

*If you are interested in attending the "Girls in STEM" conference at The Colorado School of Mines in late January, please talk to Ms. Shehata or Ms. Rice for more details and permission slips. 

*SkillsUSA will have practice for competition every Friday after school until January 19th.

*Join us after school for skate skiing lessons and workouts throughout January and February!  Take advantage of this unique opportunity to maintain and improve your fitness during the winter!  Skate skiing is great cross-training for your other sports.
