High School celebrates a rise in graduation rates with the Class of 2020

Pagosa Springs High School is proud to celebrate their students and their staff who showed great perseverance and dedication to finish the year strong in 2020. PSHS joined schools across Colorado who saw a rise is graduation rates. Great accomplishment PSHS for seeing one of your highest graduation rates-despite a challenging year. District Health Advisory Council Launches 'Grab n Go' Breakfast Bags at the High School

Grab and Go breakfast/snacks at the High School! An opportunity brought to you by the Food Service department and student input at our Health Advisory Council’s meeting this year in November. A discussion around food, kids habits and our HKCS (Healthy Kids Colorado Survey) 2019 data (which stated that 65.5% of the High School students surveyed did not eat breakfast), lead to a suggestion from Junior Arden Blakemore that students want and need snacks, just not necessarily at breakfast time. Thank you to Todd Stevens and his staff for making this happen! The Health Advisory Council is made up of parents, school staff, students and community members.

Food Box Deliveries During The Holiday Season

Add to Your Holiday Celebration The Food System |Food Equity Coalition is offering boxes of food to support families in Pagosa Springs and surrounds during the holiday season. To aid delivery, Archuleta School District will transport boxes to established school bus stops. See attachments for more info.

Compliments of Archuleta School District and USDA National School Lunch Program

Free meals will be available to children ages 0-18. To pick up meals: Families may meet school buses at established morning bus routes OR Families may pick meals up at the back door of the high school cafeteria 9 am - 1 pm. Meals will be available Dec. 1- Dec. 18.
