Do you want to get involved in an extra curricular activity where you can explore future career opportunities with hands on experiences? Would you like to compete against other students in skills-based competitions? Skills USA can give you this opportunity in a wide variety of careers. Welding, digital photography, automotive repair, programming, web design and crime scene investigation are just some of the choices available. Pagosa Springs High School has won the state level competitions in a number of these areas many times over the last ten years.
Pagosa Springs High School funds student attendance for regional and state competitions while students who qualify for national competitions must raise their own funds to attend.
Skills USA also looks good on college, job and scholarship applications. Its is also a lot of fun.
