Rosemary Chavez White was born in Durango, Colorado and educated in Pagosa Springs. She has a passion for reading, running, trail running and going on adventures with her husband. She is a true Pirate at heart. She is married to the amazing Mr. Scott White, the 8th grade Pagosa Springs Middle School Social Studies Teacher, has 3 beautiful children (Kelsey, Nicole and Brandon and grand baby Brooklynn Rose) and 2 awesome step children (Jennie and Sam). She ventured off into the world of Phoenix, Arizona to further her education at Grand Canyon University where she obtained her teaching degree. She taught physical education/health at Tolleson Union High School for the past 19 years before returning home to Pagosa Springs. She has coached volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track for the past 18 years at various levels. Rose led her boys track team to state championships in 2010 and 2015. She has taught Health, Weight Training,Geography, and World History at the high school level for 19 years. Rosemary has a passion for young people and teaching/inspiring them to live for something greater than them self.
She is currently the sponsor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and is the c-teams' volleyball coach.
