Computer Science Principles introduces students to foundational computer science concepts and challenges them to explore how technology can impact the world. More than just an introductory programming course, Computer Science Principles covers topics including the Internet, Big Data and Privacy, Programming and Algorithms.
Students experience both "plugged" and "unplugged" content as they explore computer science topics using the code.org platform connected to their school Google Classroom account.
Prerequisites: Passing grade (70%) in Math 1, all student levels 9-12 can be scheduled if they have met this requirement.
