The PSHS Student Council is charged with planning all social events for the school, such as dances, pep rallies, spirit weeks, advisory activities, and many other things.  The organization also coordinates a fundraising event for local causes each year.  

 

The council meets weekly during lunch to plan all of these activities.

 

The PSHS Student Council includes a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer from each class.  In addition to these 16 officers, the organization also has a student body head girl, a student body head boy, a student body secretary, a student body treasurer, and 2 parliamentarians.  That brings the yearly total of members to 22 each year.  Our elections are held each April-May, and we have a retreat over the summer to plan our goals.
