Re: End of Year Information

I hope this letter finds everyone well.  This memo contains upcoming end of year information and dates for the graduating class of 2024.  

There will be a mandatory meeting for all graduating seniors planning on participating in the commencement ceremony during advisory on Tuesday, May 21st, during advisory (11:25 am) in the auditorium.  On Wednesday, May 22nd, graduates need to bring his/her cap and gown to school.  Again during advisory, graduates will be bussed to the elementary and middle schools to participate in the traditional walk through the hallways.

The last day of classes for seniors in good standing will be Friday, May 24th.  Those seniors still needing to complete work for graduation requirements will attend school May 28th - May 30th until complete.  In order to participate in the graduation ceremony, seniors need to have completed all required coursework and credits by the end of the day on May 30th.

All seniors will then meet at 10:00am on the football field on May 31st for a mandatory graduation practice.  On the day of graduation, Saturday, June 1st graduates will need to report to the high school commons area by 8:00 a.m.  

The annual end of year Senior Recognition and Awards night will take place in the auditorium on Wednesday, May 29th, starting at 6:00 p.m.  All friends and family are invited to join us as we recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class of 2024.

The staff of Pagosa Springs High School is looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday, May 29th, at the Senior Recognition and Awards Night, and then again on Saturday, June 1st, at graduation.  Reserved seating for the families of the graduates at Golden Peaks Stadium (our football field) is not available. The gates will open at 7:00 a.m. with the commencement ceremony beginning at 9:00 a.m.
