Integrated Science 1 is designed to give students a broad experience in physical, earth and life sciences and help students develop an understanding and appreciation of the nature of science, the evolution of science, how we use science, the role of science in society, and the prospects for science in the future. This course emphasizes the life science, earth science, and their interrelatedness to other areas of science. Students will reinforce safe lab procedure, experimental design and challenge higher level thinking skills.
