PREREQUISITE: NONE

This course is designed to give students the skills to attain gainful employment and understand personal finance. Students will learn about careers, résumés, cover letters, interviews, personnel management, human relations, job safety, leadership, budgeting, personal banking, financing, and financial planning. Students will learn about their interests and personality type as they relate to potential future careers, and spend time researching what best careers might fit them, and the education or training that will be required. Students will also create real-time résumé and cover letter templates that can be used to search for part-time or summer jobs.
