COURSE NAME: PERSONAL FITNESS
PREREQUISITE: HEALTH/PE
This course is designed to introduce physical fitness as part of a total healthy lifestyle. The main emphasis is on cardiovascular fitness, but muscular strength, muscular endurance, coordination and flexibility will also be developed and improved. Step aerobics, low impact aerobics, yoga, pilates, tumbling, fitness walking, kick boxing, circuit training, resistance bands, spinning classes, and weight training are some of the activities that will be included in this class.
