US History is a course that begins with Post Civil War and goes to the present. The study will include Reconstruction, the Gilded Age, Populism, Imperialism, the Jazz Age, Progressivism, WWI, the Great Depression, WWII, the Cold War, the Korean Conflict, Civil Rights, the Vietnam War and more. This course is a required class for graduation. Student assessment will be by written tests, class participation, projects and a mandatory final examination.
