Integrated Math 2 consists of concepts in probability. Rational and irrational numbers are explored along with quadratics including completing the square, the quadratic formula, complex numbers, arithmetic operations, and polynomials. Solving problems involving trigonometric ratios is emphasized. Functions and the transformation of functions is explored. Solving quadratic equations and factoring that involves complex numbers is also included. The geometry strand within this course includes geometric construction, triangle proofs, properties of circles, and geometric measurement including the volume of pyramids, spheres, cylinders, cones. Mathematical modeling and the integration between math and other disciplines is emphasized throughout.
