This course provides an introduction to many aspects of computer-related technology including hardware, networks, many commonly used software applications, computer programming and the use of the internet in an information society. Additionally, students will be exposed to some of the career paths available to them infields that rely heavily on computer technology. The course is taught using lecture, hands-onactivities and many group assignments. This class meets the requirement for 1 credit in Computer Literacy for graduation.
