Dan Burch received his Bachelors of Arts in music from Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College and studied at California State University, Fullerton. He received his Master in Music from Azusa Pacific University. Dan taught for 26 years in California before moving to Colorado in 2006. He is the music director at Pagosa Springs High School, teaching Concert Choir, Show Choir, Concert Band, Jazz Band and Guitar. Dan prepares students for music festivals and competitions and travels with students to various events in the state throughout the year. Dan directs the pep band at home games and is the musical director for the spring musical each year. He is also involved as the director of several community groups.
Dan's wife, Venita, is the accompanist for many of the high school groups. The Burch's have three grown boys who all live in California with their families.
